During production, these fatty acids can clump together and form small crystals or grains. Shea butter melts on contact with body temperature, so you can easily rub it between your palms. At first, a purging process may occur, where bacteria beneath the skin come to the surface. You may therefore notice more spots initially as the skin clears out bacteria. A purging process can last between 2 and 8 weeks. Hang in there!<\/p>\n<p>Also remember to adapt your skincare routine with shea butter and black soap to your skin type. If you are drier, focus on hydration and shea butter. If you feel the need to exfoliate, use more black soap, but remember always to moisturise afterwards.
