Unlike many modern cleansing products, traditional black soap is made from natural ingredients such as plant ash, cocoa, shea butter and oils. The result is a simple cleanser with deep roots in craft and tradition. Our black soap is handmade using traditional methods by women’s cooperatives in Ghana. By preserving the original production processes, the soap remains in its most authentic form, without unnecessary additives, perfume or fillers.

What is black soap good for?

Black soap is valued for its cleansing and gently exfoliating feel.
